My KOSAS Review and TOP 7 Picks!

Last Updated on July 1, 2026

Love me some Kosas. I didn’t fully realize how much I loved the line until I gathered all of my Kosas products together, and let’s just say it’s quite the stash. I’m definitely brand loyal, but something also has to be effective (and safe for my crazy sensitive skin). The fact that I have so many items from this lovely clean beauty brand is a testament to the quality and efficacy of their products.

The Kosas FRIENDS & FAMILY SALE (20% off!!!) kicks off next week, so no better time for me to share my full Kosas review.

Let’s dive in!

All products mentioned in this Kosas review have been purchased by me (several times over!).

BRAND SPOTLIGHT: Kosas

Best of Kosas logo

Kosas was one of the first clean lines I tried as I was looking for a replacement for my traditional foundation. Enter my gateway Kosas’ product, best-of-Allure winning Tinted Face Oil (no longer offered). Kosas led the way when it came to tinted face oils IMHO, such a beautiful finish, and was the only one in its class that worked for me.

If you have sensitive skin, Kosas is proud to say that they are a line created by folks that have sensitive skin. I’ve liked or loved everything I’ve tried from this brand, so I’m going to work really hard to narrow this down to my top 7 picks from Kosas. Though I’ll be sneaky and add here that although I don’t use it, my daughter ADORES the Revealer Concealer…doesn’t exacerbate her acne-prone-teenage skin, blends beautifully and naturally, and lasts all day (even through sports practices). Literally doesn’t look like she’s wearing anything, so lovely.

Kosas is carried at several online and brick-and-mortar stores (includes big dogs like Sephora and Credo), but keep in mind that if you order directly from Kosas they do have a Subscribe & Save option that saves you 10% (and US orders over $50 ship free). Kosas uses responsible practices in their packaging and ingredient sourcing, and have created a phenomenal, clean skincare and cosmetics line at a fantastic price point, especially given the quality!

So here we go, in no particular order as I love all of these equally!

My current top picks from KOSAS:

Kosas DreamBeam

DreamBeam SPF 40 PA++++
$22-40

With its promise to be safe for sensitive skin and a “…comfy mineral sunscreen packed with ceramides + peptides to moisturize, smooth, brighten, and create the dreamiest makeup base”, I knew I needed to cheat on my (previous) favorite SPF and give it a try when it launched. It’s been great for my sensitive skin, feels great on, plays nicely with my other products, and I LOVE that it’s got a bit higher SPF than your typical daily sunscreens. Don’t let the ‘tint’ fool you though…the slight beige-y/apricot hue just takes away the issue of whitecast, but doesn’t provide any sort of coverage (peep my reel on IG). DreamBeam is moisturizing, but you might need some additional moisture in the Winter if you get particularly dry (like me). It’s my warmer weather go-to when my skin is more combo. And you know I’m not much for super glowy, and while this has a subtle radiant finish, it’s nothing that a little setting powder doesn’t ‘fix’ for me. Which means it’s PERFECT. Well done, Kosas!!! Top of my Best Clean Sunscreens for Sensitive Skin.

Maya Chia Supercritical Chia Waterless Wonder Balm

Cloud Set Setting Powder
$18-38

This setting powder is my go-to in the warmer months. Sets without drying out (I can even use a bit under my eyes without it making me look like a dry, liney mess), takes away shine while still allowing for some slight glow…not exactly matte. Lovely blurring effect! I mainly use Comfy in the summer, and switch to Feathery when not bronzing it up. LOVE that you can get a mini version, so awesome for travel!!

Kosas Wet Stick

Wet Stick
$24

One of my all-time favorite lippies! Wet Sticks are THE perfect gloss-balm-lipstick hybrid: comfy, moisturizing, just the right amount of shine AND great color payoff. This squalane and cermides-packed lippie makes my lips look and feel great…so much so that the shade 100 Degrees became my constant go-to last summer, and for the first time in YEARS I finished a tube of lippie! Sunset Simmer is also gorgeous, and a great shade for Fall. I’ll definitely be getting a new tube of 100 Degrees and grabbing another shade to try (Tropic Bliss is talking to me…). Best of for 2023!

Maya Chia The Advanced Response Complex

Air Brow – Tinted
$24

They call this a ‘Volumizing Treatment Gel’, but it’s definitely got more of a mousse-y texture to it. Full of goodies such as Castor Oil and Panthenol Provitamin B5 to help with growth, but also has Biodegradable Plant-Based Microfibers to help fill in those sparse areas and even everything out. Love everything about this. Color is fab (I used to use Soft Brown but have switched to Taupe as my hair is a bit more highlighted these days), stays on all day, easy to apply and looks natural. AND one tube lasts forever. I’ve not found anything I love for brows as much as this…believe the hype.

Maya Chia The Super Lift Vitamin C-More

Kosasport LipFuel
$18

This is my ‘Best Clean Daytime Lip Balm’ (aka purse lip balm) in my list of best clean lip balms! Great job of sealing in moisture, and while not quite as thick and waxy as ye olde Chapstick (though I call it my clean chapstick), it feels like butter and has terrific staying power. It also checks the mint box, though for those that don’t like it overly minty, it is actually fairly subtle. And the tube shape…it’s simply the perfect container for your purse, wallet or pocket. Baseline (clear) is a staple for me and I use it daily, but the tinted options are lovely for a wash of color too. Never without it!

Maya Chia The Straight A

Chemistry Deodorant
$16

Switching to natural/clean deodorant is probably the most frustrating of swaps…it’s the bathing suit shopping of bodycare. And between baking soda, coconut oil and essential oil sensitivities, I’ve had a helluva time finding one that is not only effective at keeping BO away, but doesn’t freak out my skin. But then entered the magickery that is this deodorant serum from Kosas!!! At the time of my first purchase my skin was irritated, so I got the unscented to be super safe…honestly I figured it would be money down the drain as surely I needed some sort of fragrance to mask the stink, right?! But lo and behold, Kosas is not kidding about the AHA keeping PH balanced and unstinky, AND my skin just looks lighter and brighter. No joke. I’ve not found anything else that works as effectively. And while my go-to is the fragrance-free, I love the scent of Beachy Clean!

Kosas Cloud Set Mist

Cloud Set Mist
$36

Finally a clean setting spray that works on my sensitive, mature skin! No breakouts, sets makeup beautifully, and somehow magically moisturizes while reducing shine?! I especially love this in the cooler months when my skin is dry, but it’s also great as a refresher in the summer (though I apply setting powder over it when I’m more combo). You’re going to love how this feels on your skin…so lightweight, and no stickiness or tackiness. Hot tip: on particularly humid days, I spray this before makeup application AND after. If you have super sensitive skin and have avoided settings sprays as I did, give this one a try…it’s truly wonderful!

Obviously I’m a huge fan of this line, and I can’t recommend these 7 enough. You also can’t go wrong with their lip glosses and AHA exfoliating bodywash, just sayin’.
