Credo Beauty Shopping List: My TOP 25 Products to stock up on

Last Updated on October 23, 2024

UPDATED!
It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year,
the Black Friday of clean beauty…
it’s CREDO’S once-a-year FRIENDS OF CREDO SALE!

Credo Beauty is a clean beauty superstore…with over 130 brands to choose from, from skincare to makeup to hair and body care, they have everything you need to swap to a cleaner, safer, good-for-you-and-for-the-planet beauty routine. I can purchase almost all of my ride-or-die products from them. Not to mention, Credo is a great resource for clean beauty scoop (I mentioned their Dirty List in my post about switching to clean beauty).

Don’t walk, run, it only happens once a year, it’s 20% off everything at Credo Beauty and it ends on October 29th! I will definitely be stocking up on my staples, along with grabbing a clean liquid eyeshadow that’s been raved about recently (hoping it’s a Nars All About Eve dupe!), and a clean setting powder I’ve had my eye on (and awaiting a fat sale!) that’s supposed to be bomb for dry, sensitive skin.

So without further ado, below you’ll find a quick list of my top 25 products that can be found at Credo Beauty, including a few new loves!

MAKEUP

Westman Atelier Eye Want you Mascara review

Westman Atelier | Eye Want You Mascara

Westman Atelier’s Eye Want You Mascara gives terrific length AND volume, holds a curl, gives more of the full, feathery look that I like and best of all…NO FLAKING or SMUDGING! Stays on even in crazy humidity, but magically washes off quite easily. I do wish the brush was a bit less big for more control in the inner eye, but that’s my only wee gripe. Outstanding! I will say that I initially put off purchasing it as the price is more than I really like to spend on mascara. But I was desperate, and there was a sale, and now I’m hooked. And while it is on the spendier side, please note that it also has lasted a LOT longer than any tube of clean mascara I’ve ever tried. I’m on month 5 (no judging), and no signs of drying out, etc. Given I would’ve typically gone through 2 tubes in that time, I’m calling it a wash in the budget department.

Kosas Wet Stick review Credo

Kosas | Wet Stick Moisturizing Lip Shine

I grabbed 2 shades of this newly launched lippie during the Kosas sale, and folks, it was a regular go-to this summer!!! I’d call this a balm-lipstick-gloss hybrid…just the right amount of color, just the right amount of shine, moisturizing and plumping, easy to put swipe on quickly and roll out. 100 Degrees (lovely summer nude) and Sunset Simmer (reminds me of the iconic ‘Toast of NY’ from the 90’s!) are both GORGEOUS.

Kosas Air Brow review Credo

Kosas | Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel

They call this a ‘Volumizing Treatment Gel’, but it’s definitely got more of a mousse-y texture to it. Full of goodies such as Castor Oil and Panthenol Provitamin B5 to help with growth, but also has Biodegradable Plant-Based Microfibers to help fill in those sparse areas and even everything out. Love everything about this. Color is fab (I used to use Soft Brown but have switched to Taupe as my hair is a bit more highlighted these days), stays on all day, easy to apply and looks natural. AND one tube lasts forever. I’ve not found anything I love for brows as much as this…believe the hype.

Tower28 BeachPlease review Credo

Tower28 | BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm

My favorite cream blush. Great on cheeks and lips. So far I’ve tried Power Hour, Office Hours and Magic Hour, and all are fab. Magic Hour gets reached for almost daily!

Rituel de Fille Ethereal review Credo

Rituel de Fille | The Ethereal Veil Conceal & Cover

The best concealer, hands down. Applying this in key areas (under-eye, nose, cheeks, chin), I’ve been able to do away with foundation. Just buy it. I use shade: Metis.

Ritual de Fille Ash Soot review Credo

Rituel de Fille | Ash & Ember Eye Soot

Literally the only eye shadow I used last summer, in shade Half Light. It’s THE PERFECT taupe…not too cool, not too warm. If my hoods were puffy, I’d just use a wee bit of it there (applied in a windshield wiper motion with a brush) to create depth and push them back. For a night out I would pat it onto my lids as well, and brush lightly underneath my lower lashline for a lovely subdued smoky-bronze look. Rituel de Fille nails the cream-to-powder genre with their Ash & Ember Eye Soots…great colors, solid staying power, no irritation and keeps my eye area looking smooth instead of crepey.

Ere Perez Jojoba pencil review Credo

Ere Perez | Jojoba Eye Pencil

Closest clean dupe for my old favorite liner (Urban Decay). Stone and Bronze are my go-tos, both so pretty. Earth is also a great staple.

Ilia Balmy Tint review Credo

RMS Beauty | Legendary Serum Lipstick – The Nudes

This first-of-its-kind lipstick and serum hybrid has been the only lippie I’ve been reaching for this past month! And this range of shades are my JAM. Super lightweight but saturated with color, so easy to swipe on and go (but also great with your fave neutral lip liner). Feels smoothing and somehow cooling on (but no peppermint/menthol). Jayne is FINALLY the perfect nude for me that doesn’t need a liner to adjust the shade, and Mae is a glorious rosewood. SNAG THESE UP!!!

Roen kiss my liquid lip balm review Credo

Róen Beauty | Kiss My Liquid Lip Balm

This made my Best Clean Lip Balm list as the Best Clean Balm/Gloss Hybrid! If you know me you know I love a minty lippie. And this brings the mint along with the cushiest feeling, hydrating goodness. One of my favorite ever lip glosses (and that’s saying something!), it just feels so great on. I own and love Lola, Bowie and Charlie!

westman atelier lit up stick review Credo

Westman Atelier | Lit Up Highlight Stick in Brûlée

Now is the time to get this. It’s a splurge, but at 20% off you’ve got to grab one. Cheeks, eyes, lips…it does it all. So pretty, just a lovely glow without glitter/shimmer. Credo Beauty is one of only a few that carry this lovely line!

Jenny Patinkin makeup brush soap review credo

Jenny Patinkin | Vegan Makeup Brush Soap

This lasts forever, and does a great job at cleaning your brushes. All natural and the tin is reusable/recyclable. Great stocking stuffer!

SKIN

cv skinlabs calming moisture review credo

CV Skinlabs | Calming Moisture for Face, Neck & Scalp

Super gentle moisturizer, perfect when your skin is mad at you (sunburn, post-too-much-exfoliating, dermatitis, etc.). Great moisture source for teens as it doesn’t further irritate the acne breakouts. Just a great one to have on hand.

RMS locking primer review credo

RMS Beauty | ReEvolve Radiance Locking Primer

I’ll be honest, I’ve not had much luck with primers and kind of gave up on them years ago. They’d either not been effective, caused a breakout, were too matte or too shiny…seemed like too much trouble for an additional step in my routine. But the reviews of this REFILLABLE primer were so intriguing, and I’m so damn glad I tried it! It truly locks in the moisture of your skincare (keeping your moisturized but not shiny), creates a smoother canvas for makeup (providing a blurred effect to pores) AND prolongs how long that makeup stays on. I don’t use it everyday, but when I’m going out-and-about in humid weather with makeup on or out at a special event, I use this as my last layer, and it’s made a BIG difference. Love it and will be grabbing my first refill during the sale!

maya chia eye achiever review credo

Maya Chia | The Eye Achiever Multi-Correction Eye Serum

One of my favorite clean skincare lines, here’s your chance to score all things Maya Chia! I cheat on this but always come back, because nothing is better. Hydrating but fast-absorbing, lessens those fine lines with no irritation…just totally reliable.

maya chia the straight a review credo

Maya Chia | The Straight A

Ride-or-die, the best plant-based retinol available. Doesn’t irritate my super-sensitive skin. Stock up!!

maya chia the straight a review credo

Maya Chia | The Super Lift Vitamin C-More Treatment

The only Vitamin C serum that doesn’t freak my skin out! And big fat bonus points: it really does have a lovely, immediate firming effect on the skin, plus provides a nice layer of moisture beneath my oil and SPF. And the smell…it’s like walking through an orange grove. I’m forever your girl, Maya Chia. One of my favorite finds for Best of 2021 and still in regular rotation!

maya chia advanced response complex review credo

Marie Veronique | Barrier Restore Serum

Have I mentioned that Marie Veronique’s line completely saved my skin from perioral dermatitis? This is one of those products that I get really antsy about getting low, because it literally stops a PD break-out in its tracks when I see it coming on. Absolutely phenomenal at re-balancing barrier function. Magic in a bottle. It’s spendy so I do wait for sales, and when I stock up I also grab some Barrier Lipid Complex and Pre + Probiotic Daily Mist (I know, I’m kind of cheating here, but it’s another favorite skin-saving line, and folks, winter is coming!!!).

kosas dreambeam review credo

Kosas | DreamBeam SPF 40 PA++++

Here’s your chance to save again on this fabulous new sunscreen! I’ve been using it for over a year now, and absolutely loving it! No reactions, feels great on, plays nicely with my other products, and I LOVE that it’s got a bit higher SPF than your typical daily sunscreens. Don’t let the ‘tint’ fool you though…the slight beige-y/apricot hue just takes away the issue of whitecast, but doesn’t provide any sort of coverage. A new favorite sunscreen for sensitive skin!!

tower28 sos review credo

Tower28 | SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray

The glowing reviews are all well-deserved as this mist is something special. If you have any type of skin sensitivity, jump on this. You’ll see redness start to dissipate IMMEDIATELY (including “redness” from too much sun *oops*). When my skin is acting up I spray this on and let it dry while I get dressed, before I begin layering on my other products. I’ve been loving it for 2 years (it was one of my top picks in clean beauty for 2021), one of my favorite products for battling perioral dermatitis and definitely a must for sensitive skin.

kinfield daily dew review credo

Kinfield | Daily Dew SPF35

My pick for Best Clean Face SPF for the beach, pool and outdoor exercise, and safe for sensitive skin! I’m not sure what magickery Kinfield used to create it, but they changed the SPF game with this one. Finally, FINALLY, a clean, non-nano zinc-based face sunscreen that breathes. No more crazy face sweating when I’m working out! It also smells great, has very little whitecast, is not hard on the budget, is water-resistant (40 min) and reef-friendly. The finish is a bit glowy for me as a daily sunscreen, but I don’t care about that when it comes to exercise and beach/pool time. For those that do like some glow, Daily Dew does play nicely with makeup. Doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin, plays nicely with my other skincare products, this is a GAME. CHANGER.

BODY

cv skinlabs rescue + relief review credo

Bathing Culture | Mind & Body Wash

Many times natural soaps/body washes don’t really get through things like sunscreen, so I was so excited to discover that this wash removes my mineral sunscreens easy peasy (worked great last summer!). A little goes a looong way, too! And the smell is definitely invigorating. Big bonus points for being packaged in a reusable, refillable glass bottle. Plus you can buy a giant bottle of refill, saving moolah AND the Earth!

osea undaria review credo

Osea | Undaria Algae Oil

One of my favorite body oils, sinks in and seals in the moisture after a shower. Smells so good!

kosas chemistry deodorant review credo

Kosas | Chemistry – AHA Serum Deoderant

Sadly I developed a sensitivity to the last deodorant I loved, so the hunt was on once again. Enter the magickery that is this deodorant serum from Kosas!!! I got the unscented to be safe and not irritate my skin further, and honestly I figured it would be money down the drain as surely I needed some sort of fragrance to mask the bad stuff, right?! But lo and behold, Kosas is not kidding about the AHA keeping PH balanced and unstinky, AND my underarm area just looks brighter.

HAIR

innersense i create volume review credo

Innersense | I Create Volume

A sale is the perfect time to build up your product stash, and this one is a staple for me. I’m so glad my stylist turned me on to it. I’d previously passed it by as ‘lotions’ typically weigh my curls down, but this is actually a lightweight liquid gel! I couldn’t get the I Create Hold gel to work for me fine 3B curls, but this stuff is fantastic.

innersense inner peace review credo

Innersense | Inner Peace Whipped Creme Texturizer

Again thankful for my stylist. I’d bought this a while back but just couldn’t get it to work in my routine. She showed me that it works beautifully for SOTC (scrunch out the crunch)! Plus gives some volume. Just a weeee bit is needed, so tub will last forever!
