UPDATED FOR 2022! It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year, the Black Friday of clean beauty…it’s Credo’s once-a-year Friends & Family Sale, 10/21-10/24! Credo Beauty is a clean beauty superstore…with over 130 brands to choose from, from skincare to makeup to hair and body care, they have everything you need to swap to a cleaner, safer, good-for-you-and-for-the-
I’ll be working on building out a directory of my go-to clean beauty stores, including fave products from each, but a sale like this deserves its own post. 20% off everything, 4 days only. Donโt walk, run, it only happens once a year, itโs 20% off everything at Credo Beauty and it ends SUNDAY! Best excuse to start your gift shopping early or just treat yourself to some clean, fun goodies. I will definitely be stocking up on my staples, along with doing some Christmas shopping (gotta start early FOR REAL this year with all of the shipping drama going on).
So without further ado, below you’ll find a quick list of my top 25 products that can be found at Credo Beauty, including a few new loves!
MAKEUP
Athr Beauty | Big Bang Mascara
This one gets a big YAAAAAAAAS! I was so sad when Iliaโs mascara started flaking on me, and after trying several others that were new on the market (with the same flaky results), ATHR launched this beaut. I get lovely long lashes, holds a curl well, and no flaking until the very end of the day (minor). Thank you ATHR BEAUTY!!!
Tower28 | BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm
My favorite cream blush. Great on cheeks and lips. So far I’ve tried Power Hour and Magic Hour, both are fab.
Rituel de Fille | Ash & Ember Eye Soot
Literally the only eye shadow I used this summer, in shade Half Light. Itโs THE PERFECT taupeโฆnot too cool, not too warm. If my hoods were puffy, Iโd just use a wee bit of it there (applied in a windshield wiper motion with a brush) to create depth and push them back. For a night out I would pat it onto my lids as well, and brush lightly underneath my lower lashline for a lovely subdued smoky-bronze look. Rituel de Fille nails the cream-to-powder genre with their Ash & Ember Eye Sootsโฆgreat colors, solid staying power, no irritation and keeps my eye area looking smooth instead of crepey.
Rituel de Fille | The Ethereal Veil Conceal & Cover
The best concealer, hands down. Applying this in key areas (under-eye, nose, cheeks, chin), I’ve been able to do away with foundation. Just buy it. I use shade: Metis.
PYT | Plump it Up Lip Gloss
The only ‘plumping’ lipgloss that hasn’t caused irritation. LOVE the super-mintiness!! Great shine and hydration without stickiness. And you can’t beat the price!
Ere Perez | Jojoba Eye Pencil
Closest clean dupe for my old favorite liner (Urban Decay). Stone and Bronze are my go-tos, both so pretty. Earth is also a great staple.
Kosas | Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel
One of my favorite finds of last year. Fills in nicely, looks natural, stays put. I use shade: Taupe.
Ilia | Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm
One of my top clean lip balms, this is my pick for best tinted balm. Memoir and Faded are gorgeous, can’t wait to try other shades!
RรEN BEAUTY | Kiss My Liquid Lip Balm
This lip gloss will definitely make my ‘best of 2022’ list! If you know me you know I love a minty lippie. And this brings the mint along with the cushiest feeling, hydrating goodness. One of my favorite ever lip glosses (and that’s saying something!), it just feels so great on. I’ve got Lola but can’t wait to try Charlie and Bowie!
Westman Atelier | Lit Up Highlight Stick in Brรปlรฉe
Now is the time to get this. It’s a splurge, but at 20% off you’ve got to grab one. Cheeks, eyes, lips…it does it all. So pretty, just a lovely glow without glitter/shimmer. Credo Beauty is one of only a few that carry this lovely line!
Jenny Patinkin | Vegan Makeup Brush Soap
This lasts forever, and does a great job at cleaning your brushes. All natural and the tin is reusable/recyclable. Great stocking stuffer!
SKIN
CV Skinlabs | Calming Moisture for Face, Neck & Scalp
Super gentle moisturizer, perfect when your skin is mad at you (sunburn, post-too-much-exfoliating, dermatitis, etc.). Great moisture source for teens as it doesn’t further irritate the acne breakouts. Just a great one to have on hand.
Maya Chia | The Eye Achiever Multi-Correction Eye Serum
If you missed Maya Chia’s big sale a few weeks ago, here’s your chance to score all things Maya Chia! I cheat on this but always come back, because nothing is better. Hydrating but fast-absorbing, lessens those fine lines with no irritation…just totally reliable.
Maya Chia | The Straight A
Ride-or-die, the best plant-based retinol available. Doesn’t irritate my super-sensitive skin. Stock up!!
Maya Chia | The Advanced Response Complex Face & Neck Firming Cream
Miracle worker. I almost didnโt try this when it launched because my skin was so reactive last winter, but Iโd been hunting for something thatโs great for the neck area, and the initial reviews were so fantastic. I have great luck with this line and couldnโt pass up a good deal, so I jumped in. So freaking glad I did!! Iโve tried too many anti-aging creams in the past decade, and this one right here is truly the only one Iโve used that has visible results. Not only did my irritations go away, my skins just looksโฆyounger. And itโs definitely firmed up my neck, whoopheeeeee!!! I wish I could afford to slather it over my entire body. Believe the hype, this one is a hero product! AND it’s refillable?!
Le Prunier | Plum Beauty Oil
I’ve loved this since it first launched. Moisturizing, plumping and so gentle. So hard to find an oil that doesn’t freak out my skin. Stock-up time!
Marie Veronique | Pre + Probiotic Daily Mist
Several products in this line save my skin during perioral dermatitis episodes. This spray is as effective as a greek yogurt mask! Credo Beauty is one of the few exclusive shops that carry this line, so a discount like this is fantastic and definitely the best opportunity to try it or to fortify your stash!
Marie Veronique | Barrier Restore Serum
Stops PD in its tracks, hydrates like a champ, and luckily a little goes a long way. I always stock up during the Credo F&F sale!
Marie Veronique | Barrier Lipid Complex
The last of my PD-fighting trio, deeply moisturizing…literally like nothing else. Again, a little goes a long way.
BODY
Neal’s Yard Remedies | Frankincense Intense Hand Treatment Serum
Truly makes a difference in aging hands. Makes a great gift (my mom loves it)! And Credo Beauty is one of very few places to find this, so this is definitely stock-up time.
Osea | Undaria Algae Oil
One of my favorite body oils, sinks in and seals in the moisture after a shower. Smells so good!
Kosas | Chemistry – AHA Serum Deoderant
Sadly I developed a sensitivity to the last deodorant I loved, so the hunt was on once again. Enter the magickery that is this deodorant serum from Kosas!!! I got the unscented to be safe and not irritate my skin further, and honestly I figured it would be money down the drain as surely I needed some sort of fragrance to mask the bad stuff, right?! But lo and behold, Kosas is not kidding about the AHA keeping PH balanced and unstinky, AND I feel like my pit skin just looks brighter.
HAIR
Innersense | I Create Volume
A sale is the perfect time to build up your product stash, and this one is a staple for me. I’m so glad my stylist turned me on to it. I’d previously passed it by as ‘lotions’ typically weigh my curls down, but this is actually a lightweight liquid gel! I couldn’t get the I Create Hold gel to work for me fine 3B curls, but this stuff is fantastic.
Innersense | I Create Lift Volumizing Foam
When I want my curls a la 80’s, this is my product. I do need to use a bit of leave-in conditioner with it. But never does me wrong for big voluminous hair.
Innersense | Inner Peace Whipped Creme Texturizer
Again thankful for my stylist. I’d bought this a while back but just couldn’t get it to work in my routine. She showed me that it works beautifully for SOTC (scrunch out the crunch)! Plus gives some volume. Just a weeee bit is needed, so tub will last forever!
So many items to choose from, but these are my best-of-the-best that can be found at Credo Beauty. Comment below with any questions. Now get to shopping before things sell out. Sale ends October 24th!
